Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle at Busy Downtown Intersection
Wednesday, January 7th just before 10:30pm, RNC patrol officers were called to the intersection of New Gower Street and Barter’s Hill in downtown St. John’s. There, police found that a pedestrian had sustained minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle on the crosswalk. The driver was ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian on a crosswalk, and the victim was taken to hospital for assessment.
