Ferryland RCMP arrest woman after disturbance in Bay Bulls
Ferryland RCMP arrested a 53-year-old woman for assault after responding to a disturbance at a Bay Bulls home on Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly before 1:30 on March 3, police received a call about a disturbance in progress. When police arrived, the victim explained that a woman, who was known to them, had struck them several times causing minor injuries.
Wanda Caines, 53, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault. She was held in custody overnight and appeared in provincial court Wednesday.
The investigation is ongoing.
