Bonavista RCMP investigating snowplow theft, recovered March 4
Bonavista RCMP is asking the public to contact police with any information regarding the theft of a tractor-style snowplow in Port Union over the weekend.
On March 3, around 1:40 p.m, police were called to a commercial building on Main Road in Port Union after a snowplow was reported stolen. It is believed that the plow was taken sometime between Friday, February 27 and Sunday, March 1, likely during the overnight hours.
The snowplow was recovered by police on Wednesday, March 4 in Upper Amherst Cove.
Bonavista RCMP is asking anyone with information about the theft of this snowplow or the person(s) responsible to contact them at 709-468-7333.
