Roddickton RCMP impounds unregistered vehicle, tickets driver
A New Year’s Day traffic stop in Roddickton led to three tickets and a tow for a driver operating without a proper licence, registration or insurance.
Around 11:40 a.m. on Jan. 1, an officer on patrol in Roddickton observed a vehicle with an expired registration and conducted a traffic stop on Majors Street. The driver, a 69-year-old man, was also operating without a valid driver’s licence and the vehicle was not insured.
Police seized and impounded the vehicle and issued the man three tickets under the Highway Traffic Act for operating without insurance, registration or a valid licence.
