Police investigating theft of tractor and utility trailer, seeking public’s help
Police are investigating the theft of a tractor and utility trailer from a cottage in Howley, and are asking for the public’s help identifying the individual or individuals responsible and locating the stolen items.
On Jan. 1, police responded to a reported theft of a Kioti mid-sized tractor and flatbed utility trailer stolen from a private cottage in the Howley area. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime in November 2025.
The orange Kioti tractor is a model CS2210 with both a front-end loader and a backhoe, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) RY600019.
The 2018 K-Trail utility trailer was bearing NL licence plate THH199, and VIN 2RYKBVF25JM016633 at the time it disappeared.
Anyone who has any information related to this crime or knows the current location of the stolen items is asked to contact Deer Lake RCMP at 709-635-2173.
