Emergency crews responded to a call at Piatto restaurant on Duckworth Street in St. John’s this afternoon after a small kitchen fire was started, and quickly put out before crews arrived on scene. The fire was contained in the kitchen, and no damage was done inside the restaurant. Crews addressed the small amount of smoke in the kitchen area, and business remains back to usual.
