On Sunday morning the RNC responded to a disturbance at a residence in downtown St. John’s that resulted in two arrests.

A 42-year-old male was arrested at the scene and was charged with assault, resisting arrest, property damage and breach of a release order.

A 35-year-old female was charged with public mischief and breach of a release order.

The male was held in custody to appear in court in the morning and the female was released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
