A cyclist was taken to hospital following a collision on a busy downtown street on Tuesday evening.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, at the intersection of King’s Bridge Road and Forest Road, shortly after 7:30 p.m.. A vehicle and bicycle had collided, knocking the cyclist to the ground. They were helped to a stretcher and taken to hospital with injuries believed to be minor.

Traffic was slowed in the area as personnel attended the scene.
