Come From Away has had enormous success, but not just here in Newfoundland and Labrador.

On Friday, Come From Away premiered in Tokyo, Japan.

The hit broadway musical’s Japanese premiere is expected to spark travel interest to this province. Tourism Minister, Steve Crocker travelled to Japan in October to promote Newfoundland and Labrador toruism.

Crocker met with Japanese tour operators that have an interest in selling vacations to Newfoundland and Labrador.

Our own production of Come From Away will return to Gander this summer at the J.R. Smallwood Arts and Culture Centre.
