Cruise ship to visit Corner Brook today

Corner Brook will welcome the second cruise ship of the year today. The Regent Seven Seas, run by Mariner is expected to arrive today at 11:00 a.m. and will depart at 8:00 p.m. this evening. The ship is carrying 696 passengers and 449 crew.

Two youths arrested following incident in downtown St. John’s

A 15-year-old female and a 17-year-old male will appear in court this morning after the RNC Patrol Services responded to a residence in the downtown area of St Joh’s. Police received a call of unknown trouble in progress. The female was arrested for breaching her release orders and the male was arrested for obstruction.
