Uber officially launches today

Uber officially launches in St. John’s today. Premier Andrew Furey and Minister of Digital Government and Service NL Sarah Stoodley will attend Uber’s announcement about the launch of their ride-sharing service in Newfoundland and Labrador. The announcement will take place at the Quidi Vidi Artisan Studios beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Man arrested with assault causing bodily harm after domestic disturbance in St. John’s

Overnight the RNC responded to a call of a domestic disturbance at a residential dwelling in St. John’s.  Police observed that a female at the residence had sustained moderate injuries.
