Brad Benoit has been elected as Chief of Miawpukek First Nation.
The by-election held on January 26, was close according to a statement from the Miawpukek First Nation. Benoit received the majority of votes to claim the position of administrative Chief.
He will work with Traditional Saqamaw Mise’l Joe to help guide him through his transition into his new role.
