Applications are now open for the 2024 Vegetable Transplant Program.
The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture offers high-quality, low-cost vegetable transplants to eligible commercial farmers. Available crop varieties include cabbage, rutabaga, broccoli, cauliflower, onion, kale, lettuce, leek and asparagus.
Last year the Vegetable Transplant Program provided 4.3 million vegetable transplants to 123 farmers.
Applications close on Feb. 8.
