The Advance Poll opens today for the By-Election in the District of Conception Bay East-Bell Island.

Voting will take place from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at three locations.

The locations are the Avalon Karate Club at 69 St. Thomas Line, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10 in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s, and St. Michael’s Parish Hall on Bell Island.

There are four candidates running, Kim Churchill is running for the New Democratic Party, Darryl Harding is on the ballot as an independent candidate, Fred Hutton is running under the Liberal banner, and Tina Neary is representing the Progressive Conservative Party.
