Ferryland RCMP seizes vehicle from motorist operating under the influence of alcohol
Ferryland RCMP arrested a 38-year-old man for impaired driving during a traffic stop early Thursday morning.
At approximately 12:30 a.m. on August 20, police stopped a vehicle on the Conception Bay Highway (Route 60) in Holyrood. Police observed signs of impairment and the driver of the vehicle, a 38-year-old Conception Bay South man, provided a breath sample roadside that was above the provincial limit, but below the criminal threshold.
His vehicle was seized and impounded, and his driver’s licence was suspended.
