Cloud king across Newfoundland Friday, as showers shift around island
A light east wind returns Friday meaning the coastal fog on east-facing regions does as well. That same wind is going to limit the daytime highs to the mid-teens underneath cloudy conditions.
RDF comes to pass as rain spends the day falling lightly, scattered across the island as a whole, but never really spending any significant time or as heavy rain in any region.
It all begins on the south coast first thing in the morning, spending the afternoon along the west coast and arrive through Central, the Baie Verte Peninsula and the Northern Peninsula in the evening.
The Burin, Avalon and Bonavista Peninsula share some moments of light rain in the morning, near the supper hour and once more closer to midnight.
Wind remains light across the province from the east exclusively, however, it is anticipated to ramp up into the 30-50 km/h range for south-facing side.

While the temperatures in Labrador are sporadic, the cloud cover is more defined.
The south east side of The Big Land is looking to spend the majority of Friday covered in cloud, while the north and west side of Labrador enjoys much more time spent under the sunshine.
As well, albeit light, a south wind benefits inland Labrador with daytime highs above 20. Meanwhile, the coastline, outside of Cartwright, is facing an easterly wind off the water resulting in temperatures in the teens.
Happy Valley-Goose Bay finds itself in the cloud crossroads, seeing a mix that fluccuates throughout the day.
