Increasing cloud across Newfoundland Thursday amid varied temperatures

Warmer West Coast also sees more sun than Newfoundland’s East on Thursday
It’s a sunny start for the West and South Coast of Newfoundland Thursday, through to parts of Central and into the Northern Peninsula.
The further east you go, the more set cloud cover you’ll find with less opportunity for a sunny break and more opportunity for some drizzle.
The clouds to look to come together and become more wide-spread through the afternoon and into Thursday evening.
A light northwest wind keeps the north-facing side of the island sub-twenty degrees in terms of a day time high. Meanwhile, Central through the West Coast have daytime highs back into the mid-twenties with some added humidity.

North Coast of Labrador spends Thursday with the rain, plenty of sun to be shared around as well
Nain wakes up under rainy conditions by way of Labrador West Thursday. The North Coast can expect roughly 15 mm with a more consistent rainfall compared to the 5-10 mm on the docket for Labrador West.
The day across the rest of Labrador is spent in sun and cloud with Cartwright into Happy Valley-Goose Bay benefiting from a warm and light southeast wind.
Cloud does look to close in on Central Labrador near the supper hour brining with it a light rinse of brief scattered showers.
