RNC Lift Shelter-In-Place Order in Mount Pearl After Resolving Situation Without Incident
Shortly after 1am on June 3rd, RNC lifted the shelter-in-place order that went into effect yesterday evening. Around 8:30pm, residents of Sauve Street (from Michener Avenue to Dollard Place), Rideau Place and Sampson Street in Mount Pearl were directed to SHELTER-IN-PLACE, and the public was asked to remain away from the area. Hours later, RNC say the situation was resolved without incident, but residents of the area can expect to see an increased police presence as part of the investigation.
