Quidi Vidi Slipway to reopen soon.
An historic focal point in the city of St. John’s and the heart of Quidi Vidi village will soon reopen after undergoing roughly $750 thousand dollars in repairs.
The Quidi Vidi slipway was closed in January of this year to be replaced as city engineers deemed it unsafe in 2023. The City of St. John’s says there will be a special grand reopening celebration announced in the coming weeks. The slipway access is anticipated to be complete within the next two weeks.
