Two-vehicle collision slows west-end traffic
A collision in the west end of St. John’s on Sunday morning slowed traffic flowing through a busy intersection.
Shortly before 10:30 a.m. emergency crews were called to the intersection of Columbus Drive and Captain Whelan Drive following a two-vehicle collision. The crash caused significant damage to a sedan and moderate damage to a pickup truck. One person was assessed at the scene by paramedics, however it’s unknown if they were taken to hospital.
