17th annual Cougar Flight 491 memorial service set for Thursday
At 9:48 a.m. March 12, 2009, the accident of Cougar Flight 491 off the coast of St. John’s resulted in the loss of life of 17 people. Robert Decker was the sole survivor of that horrific crash.
This year marks the 17th anniversary of this loss of life.
On Thursday, Eastern Chaplaincy will join families, friends and co-workers of those lost for an annual memorial service. The service will also be live-streamed through Eastern Chaplaincy’s website: www.easternchaplaincy.ca
