State of emergency lifted in Trepassey
The state of emergency declared on Tuesday for the town of Trepassey has now been lifted.
Trepassey declared a state of emergency after a severe winter storm knocked out the towns breakwater once again, and damaged the road to the lower coast.

Access to the lower coast of Trepassey was compromised as a result of the damage. The town restricted access to Battery Road, but that restricted area order has now been lifted.
The road is still being repaired, so residents are advised to use caution on Battery Road.
