High winds cause structural damage to former St. Mary’s Fish Sauce Plant
The Town of St. Mary’s says high winds have caused significant structural damage to one side of the former fish sauce plant. The municipality is asking residents to stay clear of the area.
The Atlantic Seafood Sauce Company Ltd. building sits on the shoreline of St. Mary’s, just steps away from the ocean. It first opened in 1990, but was abandoned nearly a decade later.
