Police seeking public’s assistance in theft investigation
Bay St. George RCMP is investigating the theft of a trailer near Middle Barachois River, and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person responsible and locating the stolen property.
On Jan. 4, police received a report of a trailer taken from a parcel of land off the Trans-Canada Highway near Middle Barachois River. It is believed the theft occurred between Dec. 26 and Jan. 4.
The trailer is a 19-foot enclosed trailer, with a three-foot extension on the back, plywood sides and tarps covering the roof. It has an Alberta licence plate (6PE0-20).
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with information about the suspect or the location of the trailer to come forward. Residents or businesses with surveillance video or images from the area near the area around the time of the theft are asked to contact Bay St. George RCMP at 709-643-2118.
