No injuries following single-vehicle crash Tuesday night

Local News, News

There were no injuries to report, however a portion of the Outer Ring Road was intermittently closed following a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday evening.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m. emergency crews were called to the westbound lanes of the highway, where it passes over Thorburn Road. The driver of a vehicle had lost control, striking a concrete wall. The vehicle rolled onto its side, where it came to rest in the middle of the highway.

The driver, who was the only occupant, was uninjured in the ordeal. Police were forced to periodically close the westbound lanes of the highway, diverting traffic around the scene, as crews responded and as the damaged vehicle was removed.
