Another productive year for Gander Flight Training

Gander Flight Training is geared up for another influx of students to arrive early in January to train for their pilot license, and GFT is also celebrating a successful 2025.

GFT trains students from all over the world to fly in Gander and General Manager, Phallan White, says 2025 was another good year for their training school.

The company announced winners of their annual awards at its Wings Ceremony.

Marlow Coombs, St. John’s, is winner of the Women in Aviation Award for inspiring the next generation of female pilots with her leadership, determination and contributions to the aviation program.

Logan Saunders, Glovertown, won the Wings of Integrity Award for his passion, commitment and exceptional eagerness for training.

Rowan Klien, Terrace, British Columbia, was named winner of the Bradan Pike Award for his exceptional performance in training and contribution to GFT school community.

Established in 1992, GFT is a distinguished pilot training institute providing unique opportunities for students from around the world to gain real-life experience in challenging weather conditions.
