Water services return to normal operations in Bonavista
The Town of Bonavista says its emergency water ban has now been lifted after a flash freeze caused trouble for its town water source on Saturday. The water ban came as a result of ice buildup at the long pond water intake on Saturday. Staff worked through the weekend to install a temporary pump to bring water into the town’s system but that is no longer needed and the water system is operating under normal conditions.
The town says all water services have resumed to normal operations.
