Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP respond to break and enter in progress, four suspects arrested and charged
Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP arrested and charged four individuals on Wednesday in relation to a residential break and enter. Three face additional charges for failure to comply with the conditions of release or probation orders.
At approximately 12:19 p.m. on December 3, officers responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence on Mesher Street. Police learned that the suspects remained inside the unit.
Four individuals – two men and two women – were located inside the private dwelling and taken into police custody without incident. All four suspects – including 45-year-old Jesse James Hennessey of Happy Valley-Goose Bay – were charged with break and enter to a residence with intent and being unlawfully in a dwelling house.
Fourty-three-year-old Anton Boyce Russell of Rigolet faces an additional charge under the Criminal Code with two counts of failure to comply with his Probation Order.
Natasha Arlene Pottle, 37, of Rigolet faces additional criminal charges including failure to comply with her Probation Order and two counts of failing to comply with a Release Order. Pottle was also the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant in connection to an unrelated breach of her Probation Order.
A 32-year-old woman, Lorraine Obed of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, was also charged with resist or obstruct a police officer and failure to comply with a Release Order.
The investigation is ongoing.
