Excessive speeder stopped by Mary’s Harbour RCMP
A 32-year-old woman had her licence suspended on Saturday after she was caught traveling 51 km/h over the speed limit by Mary’s Harbour RCMP.
On Oct. 25, around 11:00 a.m., police officer stopped an SUV observed travelling at speeds up to 131 km/hr in a 80 km/hr zone on Highway 510 of the Trans-Labrador Highway.
The driver was ticketed for excessive speeding and issued a seven-day suspension under the Highway Traffic Act.
