The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is accepting applications for its June 2025 Cadet Training Program.

The RNC will have two cadet training classes in 2025. A class of cadets has already been selected to begin training at the Atlantic Police Academy in January. Recruitment is now ongoing to fill seats for a June offering. The RNC application and selection process includes written, oral, and physical components.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates may be assigned to serve in any jurisdiction of the RNC. Just last month, 13 recruit constables were sworn in to service following the addition of nine experienced officers in 2024. In 2023, 17 new officers joined the RNC.
