Wednesday afternoon the RNC responded to a report of an impaired driver in Mount Pearl.

The suspect was located at a business on Old Placentia Road.

The 73-year-old woman was believed to be operating her vehicle while under the influence. Following a brief investigation, the accused was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
