5 Wing Goose Bay is advising the public that the Dakota Range will be active starting February 2, 2024 at 8 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. February 3, 2024.

There are red flags positioned around the ranges, when these flags are flying, it is a clear warning that live shooting is in progress. Roads in the areas as well as the Upper Loppet Trail will be closed with red wooden barricades during this timeframe.

Once the range is deactivated, the barricades will be removed; roads and the Upper Loppet Trail will reopen. 5 Wing Operations Center is asking the public to remain clear of the designated areas during this period.
