Vehicle Fire Closes TCH Near Goobies Overnight

The Trans Canada Highway was closed in both directions at Goobies overnight due to a vehicle fire. Emergency crews responded to the fire by 11:43pm and shut the highway down, asking drivers to obey directions and expect delays. Man Charged With Forcible Confinement After Incident in the Goulds

Shortly after 6pm on Monday, February 2nd, RNC responded to a disturbance at a residence in the Goulds. After investigating, officers arrested a 27-year old man on charges of Uttering Threats and Forcible Confinement. He was taken to lock up to be held for court.
