Vehicle Fire Closes TCH Near Goobies Overnight
The Trans Canada Highway was closed in both directions at Goobies overnight due to a vehicle fire. Emergency crews responded to the fire by 11:43pm and shut the highway down, asking drivers to obey directions and expect delays. After an hour, the scene was cleared and the highway re-opened fully to traffic. Clarenville RCMP thank the public for their patience and cooperation.
