Wet roads across most of the province

Roads are wet across most of the province this morning. Some rain on the Great Northern Peninsula is causing reduced visibility. Provincial ferries and Marine Atlantic are running on schedule. At the St. John’s International Airport, Porter flights 2283, 2280, and 2284 are delayed. Flights are on time in Gander and Deer Lake.

3D gun dealer sentenced to seven years for largest weapons seizure in province’s history

It was the largest seizure of illegal weapons in the province’s history, and now a Torbay man has been sentenced to seven years in prison. But the judge also had some harsh words for Her Majesty’s Penitentiary when handing down the sentence. NTV’s Rosie Mullaley reports.
