Route 3 closing on Saturday  

Route 3 between Ruby Line and Doyle’s Road will be closed on Saturday, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. to facilitate the reinstallation of Cochrane Pond Bridge following the completion of the repairs.  There will be a detour around the closed portion and motorists will need to use Ruby Line, Back Line and Doyle’s Road. Cruise ship visiting St. John’s tomorrow

St. John’s will see a cruise ship tomorrow.  The Volendam with 1839 passengers is scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John’s at noon on Friday and will depart at 10 p.m. Parking is limited on Harbour Drive during cruise ship visits to accommodate tour operators and other passenger transportation.
