Closure of Water Street East Ramp on Pitts Memorial Drive

Beginning today the Water Street east ramp on the Pitts Memorial Drive CN Viaduct will be closed. The closure is necessary to accommodate ongoing work on the bridge and is anticipated to last a couple of months. RNC stops driver owning nearly $50,000 in fines

On Sunday the RNC stopped a vehicle for making an illegal left turn near the Avalon Mall. It turns out that the driver had a suspended driver’s licence and owed about $50,000 in fines. His vehicle was seized and he will appear in court at a later date.
