Several workers were sent to hospital this morning, following a chemical exposure at the Quinlan Brothers Fish Plant in Bay de Verde. The extent of the injuries of those involved is unknown at this time.

Harbour Grace RCMP as well as Occupational Health and Safety are working together on the investigation. Police say they received a call about the incident shortly after 9:00a.m. Thursday morning.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
