The airline company WestJet recently said in a statement they will be ending their service from St. John’s to Hamilton as of July 1, 2024.

The route, was only announced in May of 2024, and was expected to operate until mid October. The company says they hope this notice will give guests time to make other arrangements, and said refunds will be given to those who booked travel on or after July 1st.

The company says this decision comes as a result of WestJet’s suspension of service to Hamilton from multiple stations across their network.
