Lela Evans keeps seat in Torngat Mountains
PC Incumbent Lela Evans has been re-elected into the House of Assembly.
Evans was born and raised in Makkovik Labrador.
First elected in 2019 as a PC MHA, Evans left the party in 2021 to sit as an independent, and then joined the NDP’s in 2022.
On July 16, 2024, Evans rejoined the PC Party. Evans currently sits as the Opposition Critic for Indigenous Affairs and Reconciliation.
Lela Evans secured 746 votes.
