28-year-old assaults three bar staff on George Street
After 2 a.m. Thursday night police responded to an assault complaint at a business on George Street.
Through the course of the investigation, police learned that a male patron
had assaulted three staff members; resulting in one person being
transported to the hospital. Officers attended the suspect’s home and
arrested him without incident.
The 28 year old male was conveyed to the
St. John’s lockup, charged with assault causing bodily harm (x3) and
breaches of two release orders.
