Just after midnight last night, the RNC responded to a single-vehicle moose accident on the Trans-Canada Highway, east of the Paradise exit.

Both of the occupants of the vehicle sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and were taken to hospital.

A portion of the highway was closed for a time while emergency personnel assisted with the accident.
