The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is now accepting applications for it’s June 2025 Cadet Training Program.

There will be two cadet training classes in 2025. A class of cadets has already been selected to begin training at the Atlantic Police Academy in January. Recruitment is now ongoing to fill seats for a June offering.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates may be assigned to serve in any jurisdiction of the RNC.

Just last month, 13 recruit constables were sworn in to service following the addition of nine experienced officers in 2024. In 2023, 17 new officers joined the RNC.
