Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision. On Sunday, just after 6 a.m., the RNC responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision that had occurred on Empire Avenue in the area of Graves Street. Officers determined that a vehicle with three occupants had collided with a residence on Empire Avenue.

Two occupants of the vehicle were transported to hospital with serious injuries, the other occupant, a 32-year-old male of St. John’s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and investigators are seeking any witnesses and video footage from the area of Empire Avenue near Graves Street within the 5:50 a.m. to 6:20 a.m. timeframe Sunday.
