Woman charged with assault with a weapon after incident in Logy Bay-Middle Cove

A 22-year-old female will appear in court today after RNC officers responded to a report of unknown trouble in Logy Bay-Middle Cove overnight. At 11:00 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the community. Officers conducted an investigation, and the accused was arrested at scene. She is charged with assault with a weapon.

Paul Reynolds Community Centre pool closing for two weeks

The swimming pool at the Paul Reynolds Community Centre in St. John’s will be closed from August 27 to September 9. The pool will be closed for scheduled maintenance. The remainder of the Community Centre will remain open during this time. The pool will reopen on the regular schedule on September 10.
