Porter Airlines is launching two new flights to Newfoundland later this week.

On Thursday the Deer Lake Regional Airport will welcome Porter Airlines. The airline will provide daily direct service between Deer Lake and Halifax. This is the first time the airline has provided service to Deer Lake.

Porter Airlines also starting a route on Thursday from St. John’s to Ottawa. The first time in five years that any Canadian carrier has served the route.
