A missing berry-picker from Chapel Arm has been found dead.

Whitbourne RCMP had been searching for 58-year-old Brent Warren of Chapel Arm, who was reported missing Wednesday morning.

Warren was last heard from Tuesday around noon when he stated that he was heading out to go berry picking in the Fairhaven area. He was operating a vehicle, which was since located parked just off the Trans-Canada Highway near Fairhaven.

The Avalon North Wolverines Search and Rescue and RCMP Police Dog Services and Traffic Services were engaged in the search.

Unfortunately, Warren was found deceased Wednesday evening.
