Woman charged with impaired driving in St. John’s
A woman was charged with impaired driving in St. John’s on Saturday.
On June 27 at 9:19 p.m., RNC patrol officers received a report from the member of the public indicating a known 21-year-old woman was driving her vehicle while impaired after leaving the Larkhall Street / Avalon Mall area. Officers searched the area and known residences and were able to find the accused and initiate an impaired driving investigation.
As a result, the accused was arrested after blowing over twice the legal limit and charged with operation of a motor vehicle while being impaired and operation over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 mls of blood. The accused had her license seized and was released with a court date at a later time.
