Uninsured vehicle seized from suspended driver by Trinity-Conception RCMP
A 50-year-old suspended driver had her vehicle seized by police Saturday during a traffic stop in Carbonear.
On March 7, shortly after 2:30 p.m., an RCMP officer patrolling Water Street in Carbonear pulled over a vehicle with expired registration and multiple damaged windows. During the traffic stop, police learned that the driver was also operating with a suspended licence.
The driver was issued tickets under the Highway Traffic Act for driving while disqualified and the vehicle was seized by police and impounded.
