Uninsured Driver Leads Police on Chase
Sunday night around 10:00pm, RNC observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed on a residential street in center-city St. John’s. The driver failed to stop for police, and a chase ensued. Eventually, the driver was apprehended and held overnight on charges of Flight From Police and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Tickets were also issued for no insurance and expired registration, and the vehicle was impounded.
